Poll shows John Kemper closing in for the win

Kentucky Auditor candidate John Kemper sees Tea Party energy powering his campaign and says the latest poll numbers from Public Policy Polling show his "Debt Free Kentucky" message is catching on.

"Anyone paying attention knows we need a state auditor who doesn't owe any favors to the governor," Kemper said. "My opponent has been part of the problem in Frankfort for years and my supporters are spreading our message on a shoestring budget. I look forward to a very competitive fall effort and we're confident our independent campaign will be able to pull off the win in November."
